Learn Strategic Defense Processes for TCPA Claims in Aug. 14 Sigma 6 Seminar

ACA International MAP Committee panelists will present developments with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit opinion in ACA International v. Federal Communications Commission, et al. during the next Sigma 6 seminar Aug. 14.

The seminar, One Ringy Dingy: Robocalls, Call Frequency and Telephone Related Litigation Trends, features  Michael Frost, chief legal officer and general counsel for The CBE Group Inc., Dale Golden, attorney for Golden Scaz Gagain PLLC and Louis Ursini III, partner with Adams & Reese LLP.

“Panelists will share strategic defensive strategies and current trends of consumer claims under the TCPA,” Ursini said, adding that he recommends in-house and outside counsel who manage TCPA claims attend the seminar.

Ursini, Frost and Golden will provide an overview of the state of law for an Automated Telephone Dialing System, revocation of consent through intermediaries and partial revocation of consent. 

The Sigma 6 Compliance Legal Education Series is an opportunity for attorney members to learn from top industry instructors, ACA International staff and representatives of regulators.

ACA International will apply for CLE credits for each seminar in the series following the presentation. 

Members will also earn .75 Professional Development Units for this online seminar, which can be applied toward ACA’s Credit and Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO), and Scholar and Fellow designations.
