Introducing a New Timeline to Renew Your ACA Professional Designations

calendar

For a smoother transition, ACA International has standardized the renewal process to make your life easier.

You have a lot of things to keep track of, but staggered renewal schedules for your ACA professional designations shouldn’t be one of them. ACA wants to make it easier for you to pursue continuous education, so we are standardizing the renewal process and timeframes for our designations.

Starting this year, all ACA designations will renew on a two-year schedule. This is not only more convenient, but will also ensure your knowledge stays current as industry trends and regulations evolve

ACA offers eight professional designations that are highly recognized and regarded in the accounts receivable management industry. Start with the fundamentals by earning a Professional Collection Specialist designation, then build your expertise by pursuing credentials specific to collections, compliance, operations, leadership, health care, attorney, and other industry roles. Learn more about our professional designations here.
Once you’ve achieved a designation, don’t let it lapse! Renewing your designation helps you:

  • Advance your career.
  • Meet employer and client expectations.
  • Save time and money.
  • Continue to learn and grow.

Designations that are allowed to expire may require the holder to start over with required courses and assessments. ACA will send renewal reminders in advance.

To view your designation activity, log in to www.acainternational.org and click on Transcript. Here you can see each designation you’ve earned, the expiration dates and the PDUs you’ve earned.
