CFPB's Mick Mulvaney to Keynote ACA International’s Washington Insights Conference

ACA International is excited to welcome Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Acting Director Mick Mulvaney to the lineup of stellar speakers scheduled to address the 2018 Washington Insights Conference. Mulvaney also serves as the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

“If you work in the accounts receivable management industry, Mick Mulvaney is the government leader you want to hear from,” said Mark Neeb, ACA International’s CEO. “ACA is thrilled to provide its members with an opportunity to hear directly from a high-ranking official of Mick Mulvaney’s stature.”

Mulvaney will keynote ACA International’s Washington Insights Conference, May 21-23 at The Madison Washington D.C. Registration is open!

In January, Mulvaney issued a call for evidence to ensure the bureau is fulfilling its proper and appropriate functions to best protect consumers through a series of Requests for Information (RFI). He also affirmed the bureau’s commitment to engage in a rigorous cost-benefit analysis for the development of any new rules.

Hearing his reflection on the CFPB’s cost-benefit analysis and RFI efforts, coupled with the debt collection rulemaking efforts, will be an extremely valuable part of the Washington Insights Conference.

ACA International members will benefit greatly from Mulvaney’s perspective on the work of the CFPB.

The CFPB’s renewed commitment to engage with stakeholders presents an opportunity for the accounts receivable management industry to develop an open dialogue with policymakers. Acting Director Mulvaney’s presentation at the Washington Insights Conference will be an important part of this process.

ACA International anticipates the opportunity for members to interact with Mulvaney during a Q&A session after his presentation.

Register now to be a part of history and connect with influential thought leaders in Washington. The Washington Insights Conference is an exclusive opportunity for ACA members to meet with government officials and to engage in open dialogue about the state of the industry and how to work together.

Announcements on additional speakers at the members-only Washington Insights Conference are coming soon. Check ACA’s website and the ACA Daily newsletter for regular updates on the can’t-miss event and follow us on Twitter and Facebook using #WashingtonInsights18.
