Learn about available technology and compliance implications when it comes to using alternative communication channels during a Dec. 8 Hot Topic seminar: Multi-Channel Communications, hosted by ACA International Certified Instructor John Bedard Jr.
Navigating compliance obligations with today’s technologies is no easy task. There are many ways that technology allows us to communicate with our consumers. Are letters and calls a thing of the past? How do I know if I’m in compliance when I don’t know the laws? Bedard Jr., owner of Bedard Law Group, P.C. in Duluth, Ga., will help answer these questions during the Dec. 8 seminar. He will also review new case law regarding communication channels such as email, text messages and the use of websites.
Seminar participants will earn .75 Professional Development Units (PDUs), which can be applied toward your renewal of the Credit and Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) or Credit and Collection Compliance Professional (CCCP). Partipants can earn 0.75 PDUs that can be applied toward the Scholar and Fellow designations.
