As 2019 ends, ACA International’s advocacy team is reflecting on a year of significant accomplishments for the industry at the federal and state level while, at the same time, it is experiencing one of the toughest political fights in its history.
ACA members are invited to join the team for an in-depth, complimentary Hot Topic webinar, “Recapping 2019 – the Opportunities and Attacks on the ARM Industry,” Dec. 17 to learn about these accomplishments and challenges and what’s ahead.
Speakers include CEO Mark Neeb Neeb, Jack Brown III, president Gulf Coast Collection Bureau Inc., Leah Dempsey, vice president, senior counsel, federal advocacy, and Andrew Madden, vice president, state unit and government affairs.
They will review the unprecedented level of attention from federal lawmakers and regulators as ACA works to respond to the first ever debt collection proposal from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and continues advocacy efforts on more than a dozen debt collection related bills on Capitol Hill.
Join ACA’s Advocacy Team for a recap of this year’s efforts and a discussion on the strategy for 2020 by registering today.
