The Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association (GLCCA) is defining its role as a unit for accounts receivable management industry members after completing its first annual strategic planning retreat this fall.
The two-day event was designed to begin the process of identifying what GLCCA wants to be as a unit for its members, according to President Pauline Kussart.
The board completed an analysis to help guide leaders in developing a strategic roadmap and identifying goals for the next several years.
“We envision an annual retreat to measure and review outcomes and adjust the plan as necessary,” Kussart said. “Always having a three-year plan in place will provide a continuum of structure for the revolving board of directors and provide a much-needed management foundation for our executive director to work with in order to help the GLCCA meet member needs.”
