Digital devices, apps and watches are commonplace in our daily lives, but how does that translate to working in the highly regulated accounts receivable management industry?
Find out and discuss this topic with your peers during ACA International’s 2020 Virtual Convention & Expo July 15-16.
Starting the technology discussions on July 15, don’t miss “A Peer’s Guide to Digital Transformation,” which will feature insights from a fellow agency owner on their experience transforming their business in a digital world, including their pitfalls, triumphs and lessons learned along the way.
Here are a few of the other innovative technology sessions planned for our virtual convention:
DIY for Digital Communications: 10 Steps to a Robust Email Program
During this session you will receive a roadmap to guide you in building a robust email communication program that complies with legal requirements; satisfies HIPAA standards; uses links as well as embedded messages to communicate information; documents open rates and the date and time of delivery; is supported by policies and procedures; enhances the consumer debt collection experience; and readies your organization for the CFPB’s pending new rules for debt collection.
How to Decide if New Technology is For You
This presentation will give you the framework necessary to decide on new technologies to use. Understanding the risks is the key to implementing any change, and we will walk you through the process and provide real-life examples.
Am I Talking to a Bot?
In this session, you’ll learn about the emergence of consumers using bots to answer and screen their calls, how to recognize telltale signs you are speaking with a bot, as well as tips for navigating calls when you suspect you are speaking with a bot.
The convention agenda also features legal education, health care discussions and collector development sessions. Plus, ACA’s staff will provide an advocacy update.
The virtual experience will give attendees access to the three “main stage” sessions, breakout sessions, exhibitor networking, endless resources, chats with all attendees and even a virtual happy hour.
In addition, President Roger Weiss and President-Elect G. Scott Purcell will present the year’s recap and a glimpse at what you can expect from ACA moving forward.
The best products in the industry will be featured in a virtual Expo Hall that will be a critical part of this year’s virtual conference. View the Expo Hall and chat directly with representatives from each exhibiting company, see product demos and learn from other attendees about products and services available to you.
Throughout the virtual convention, attendees can use an interactive chat box and video chat to network and stay connected.
Stay safe wherever you’ll be joining us from, and we look forward to seeing you online for ACA’s Virtual Convention #ACAConv20 in July!
