The event will showcase a new exchange of ideas and education opportunities for commercial collection professionals while bringing together the commercial collection industry and ACA.

The International Association of Commercial Collectors Inc. (IACC) will host its 48th Annual Convention Jan. 16-18, 2019, at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, featuring remarks from ACA International CEO Mark Neeb as well as three days of dynamic seminars and meetings that bring together commercial collection leaders from around the world.

“ACA International serves its members through education, advocacy and offering products and services, all aimed at helping members succeed. I look forward to updating IACC members on what ACA is doing to advance the interests of its members through advocacy efforts and growing the synergy with our international members,” Neeb said.

Neeb will present the State of the Industry: Regulatory Update Thursday afternoon during the convention, following the can’t-miss keynote presentation on building winning teams by Dave Wannstedt, former National Football League head coach of the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins.

“IACC is excited to host its annual convention in downtown Miami this year and we are thrilled by the level of enthusiasm we have received by those interested in attending,” said IACC President Bill Mann, IFCCE, partner/CFO at Joseph Mann & Creed. “The annual convention is created specifically with our association's members’ best interests in mind—join us in the sun for premiere industry event of the year.”

Mann is among the presenters providing an update on the GDPR and its impact on U.S. agencies. This session will review any new developments on GDPR compliance. The panel will also discuss steps their firms took to become compliant.

Attendees will also learn about the newest innovations in commercial collection and take part in training, industry forums and networking events. The value of the ideas exchanged in IACC's open and welcoming atmosphere is worth the price of attendance.

Agenda items for the 2019 convention include sessions on the value of social media as an investigative tool, challenges facing the commercial collection industry in the New Year and more.

The agenda and other conference details are available on the IACC website. A special discount rate of $600 off registration is available for ACA International members interested in attending the conference. To take advantage of the ACA member discount, please use this registration form.

Early-bird registration rates are available through Dec. 7, 2018.
