Connecting in Colombia

ACA International’s collaboration with accounts receivable management companies outside the U.S. is growing after Education and Membership Development Director Harry Strausser III’s visit to a credit and collection conference and call center in Colombia.

The 15th International Credit and Collection Congress featured more than 300 executives from the financial and telecommunications sectors of the Colombian economy, as well as guests from Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Peru.

Strausser, IFCCE, MCE, discussed ACA’s resources for the industry and trends in the U.S. during the conference.

At the start of his visit to Colombia, Strausser toured one of the country’s large collection agency call centers, Contento, (meaning happiness in Spanish) and met with management and team members.

“Collaborating to advance our international partnerships is a strong opportunity for all parties involved to learn and work together,” Strausser said.
