The State of Connecticut Department of Banking has issued new criteria to allow licensed consumer credit entities to temporarily work from home in response to concerns about the coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak.
Connecticut requires entities such as consumer collection agencies and student loan servicers to work in licensed branch offices. However, due to the public health emergency declared by the World Health Organization, the state has issued a temporary policy with criteria for businesses to follow through April 30, 2020.
