Coast Professional Inc.’s significant growth over the last year led to three Geneseo, New York-based employees being promoted to operations directors. The new directors are Denise Lewandowski, Patrick Goodell and William Washburn, each of whom has achieved great success resulting from a strong work ethic, among other attributes.
Lewandowski started with Coast in 2018 as director of operations and has managed one of the company’s federal government contracts since implementation. In her new role, she will be responsible for the continued top performance of the company’s federal government contracts. She brings more than 15 years of contract management experience and has consistently shown a detailed understanding of the contract requirements, while helping maintain the company’s outstanding results.
After more than five years of experience with Coast, Goodell will continue to oversee the company’s subcontractors and will manage the company’s training and development for all facilities and the administrative resolution division in his role as senior director of operations. He brings more than 12 years of management experience to the position.
For Washburn, who joined Coast as a consumer care manager in 2017, the new role of senior director of operations means responsibility for the oversight of the operations staff in Geneseo. He will also oversee the company’s continued top performance on one of its federal government contracts. Washburn brings more than 14 years of operational management experience to the position.
“These promotions are a result of our company growth and the commitment these individuals exemplify to our company mission and values,” said Jonathan Prince, COO, in a news release. “Our organizational structure is expanding to effectively manage our compliance minded top performance for our clients. Congratulations Denise, Patrick and William on this well-earned achievement.”
Office Expansion in Louisiana
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and Coast Professional CEO Brian Davis and President Everett Stagg announced the company will create 146 new direct jobs in an expansion of its West Monroe contact center. With the expansion, Coast Professional will make a $750,000 capital investment and retain 125 existing jobs. The new project will add 146 direct jobs. In addition, Louisiana Economic Development estimates the project will result in 85 new indirect jobs, for a total of 231 new jobs in Ouachita Parish and Northeast Louisiana.
“Coast Professional’s latest outbound contact center will bring immediate career opportunities to the people of West Monroe and surrounding areas,” Gov. Edwards said. “We’re proud to be assembling a team of state and regional workforce partners who will help Coast Professional meet its immediate hiring needs for this expansion, and we’ll be announcing more details about the hiring plans in the very near future.”
To prepare for its growth, Coast Professional will be converting a former Sears Hometown store and renovating the interior space and parking area to accommodate the new workforce.
