Consumer Financial Protection Bureau leadership and advisory board representatives will meet Aug. 11 to discuss broad policy matters related to the bureau’s Unified Regulatory Agenda and its general scope of authority.
Discussions will focus on recent bureau initiatives related to the COVID-19 recovery and trends and themes in the mortgage and student lending, marketplace, according to the meeting notice.
Acting Director David Uejio will provide opening remarks followed by a session on COVID-19 recovery resources from the bureau and a snapshot of responses to consumer complaints from Jessica Russell, program manager, Office of Markets.
During the afternoon student loan session, there will be an overview of the bureau’s annual report on private education lending, recent bureau work on student lending and member discussion.
