Central Portfolio Control Inc.’s (CPC) close-knit staff recently celebrated the company’s 20th anniversary as an agency with long-term clients and employees at its office in Minnetonka, Minn.
CPC was established by Mark Hedge in 1998, after a long run with the local agency A.M. Miller & Associates. Hedge moved directly from collector to owner with the establishment of CPC and the company was able to establish a foothold with its original retail sales finance clients. It eventually expanded to several other products including credit cards, medical, student loan and auto accounts, while collectors worked their way up to become part of the senior and executive management team, according to Senior Vice President Alicia Lesher.
“CPC stated out with a small group of seasoned collectors and a skeleton admininistrative staff,” Lesher said. “With slow controlled growth our company has become an industry respected leader in collections and customer service. The focus of our celebration was the people, the owner, the leadership team, all employees, vendors and clients that have collectively contributed to the continued success of CPC.”
