CB Merchant Services (CBMS), a California based collection agency established in 1917, supported many community organizations last year through its annual grant program.
The company issued $108,000 in grants to 38 nonprofit organizations in 2018.
One recipient, the Loel Senior Center, is using grant funds from CBMS to expand its meals program.
In addition to community grants, CBMS annually supports a $2,000 competitive essay scholarship opportunity, administered by the California Association of Collectors Education Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship opportunity is open to all graduating high school seniors in California. Funds awarded may be used to attend any accredited public or private college, university or trade school.
