ACA International member company State Collection Service Inc., based in Madison, Wisconsin, raised $37,000 this month to benefit Cars Curing Kids, thanks to the generosity of its team members, vendor partners, and industry friends who joined State’s Chairman and CEO Tom Haag’s “Team Tom.”
“I am overwhelmed by the number of people who joined ‘Team Tom’ to support Cars Curing Kids,” said Tom Haag. “Tina and I have long been active supporters of Cars Curing Kids and are grateful that so many choose to support this worthwhile charity.”
The campaign combined Tom Haag’s three passions: “cars, kids, and quality health care.”
Tom Haag said he wanted to focus on helping others and creating a positive impact in the community and the State team joined him in emotional solidarity during his journey in overcoming cancer.
Outside of that, online sales of “Team Tom” T-shirts and stickers, online donations and two State-hosted events: A charity golf outing and car show highlighting Tom Haag’s extensive car collection were used to support Cars Curing Kids.
Cars Curing Kids is committed to funding and supporting causes that improve health outcomes in the lives of children in southern Wisconsin combating childhood disease and health care challenges.
The generosity of “Team Tom” will positively impact many children.
“I want to thank everyone who supported my father and Cars Curing Kids,” said Tim Haag, president of State Collection Service. “I know I speak for our entire family when I say that we are both humbled and honored by the outpouring of support from our State family, partners and industry colleagues.”
