Netflix, Hulu, HBO … ACA International. That’s right, ACA is on demand like your favorite streaming app and shows.
Are you interested in effective performance management or essential collection skills and techniques but have been waiting for the right time to fit the course into your schedule? The answer is Core Curriculum offerings are now available anywhere, anytime and in the comfort of your home through an on-demand streaming service. There is no need to wait until the next time ACA offers the course.
ACA’s courses are a way to advance your career and show your clients and colleagues that you and your collectors have the skills and knowledge to collect effectively.
Even better, the on-demand sessions are included for those who have purchased the All-Access Training Zone, which provides access to Hot Topic webinar and Core Curriculum recordings at one low price.
“Building an on-demand Core Curriculum is another endeavor to help members succeed. On demand gives us control of our schedules and flexibility in training our staff,” said ACA member and Certified Instructor LaDonna Bohling, IFCCE, chief compliance officer at Receivable Solutions LLC. “Most of the time our core curriculum is presented a few times a year, but if the dates aren’t convenient for your shop, you have to wait until it comes around again. On demand will enable you to get the most out of your ACA Training Zone and train at your leisure when it is convenient for you and your staff.”
Eight courses are available in the new on-demand program that qualify members to achieve four out of eight designations offered by ACA.
The courses currently available to stream include:
- Building High Performing Teams
- Effective Performance Management
- Essential Collection Skills and Techniques
- Exceptional Leadership
- FDCPA Essentials for the ARM Industry
- Introduction to Collection Industry Compliance
- Managing the Collection Floor
- Successful Hiring Strategies
With the new on-demand features from ACA, it’s never been easier to achieve ACA’s designations and display your accomplishments with the development of new-and-improved programs through Education and Events.
The designations available by streaming required courses include Professional Collection Specialist, Collection Industry Professional, Trainer Specialist and Professional Collection Manager.
ACA knows the value of these designations is extremely important for members and industry professionals and is continually working to improve access to learning and options to showcase those achievements.
As such, ACA is also offering digital badges for members to proudly display their ACA designations through their email accounts, social media and websites.
Upon successful completion of ACA designations, you will receive a corresponding badge that will let the professional community know what the designation represents, the education and testing required to obtain the credential and if it is still valid/active. Now your badge will be a colorful and highlighted testament to the hard work you put into your ACA educational programming.
“Digital badging is like adding bling to your credentials,” Bohling said. “Add them to your web page or your signature line. These badges show your commitment to and pride in our industry.”
The process of acquiring your new badge(s) is very simple. Just follow these instructions:
- Login to the ACA website so that your personal MyACA appears.
- Click MyACA next to your name. Click MyACA in the menu to enter your account.
- Under “Profile” click “My Digital Badge(s).” This is your personal badge page.

Digital badging represents our member achievements and ACA is dedicated to bringing that hard work to the forefront and making access to education convenient and affordable through the new On-Demand Core Curriculum seminars.
