After 35 years as an ACA International Certified Instructor—plus a term serving as ACA’s president in 2004/05—Harry Strausser III, president of Applied Innovation Inc., knows a thing or two about the benefits of volunteering for your association.
“I would urge everyone listening to this message to get out and volunteer for this association,” Strausser said. “Try joining the Council of Delegates or offer to serve on a committee.”
ACA offers many opportunities for members who wish to volunteer their time to improve their professional association and the accounts receivable management industry.
Strausser said volunteering leads to many opportunities with the association and helps develop relationships between fellow members.
“The time you will put into being a volunteer will come back to you tenfold,” Strausser said.
Find information about volunteer opportunities on ACA’s website. Select Volunteer to Serve and follow the link to the volunteer form, which takes only a few minutes to complete and submit.
