AMCOL Systems Inc. CEO Continues Role on Tennessee Collection Service Board

Chip Hellmann was reappointed to the board by Tennessee’s governor to contribute to collection agency licensing processes and periodic disciplinary hearings.


Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam recently re-appointed AMCOL System Inc.’s CEO Chip Hellmann to serve on the Tennessee Collection Service Board. Hellmann brings more than 30 years of experience in the credit and collection industry to his role on the board and as CEO of the ACA member company based in Columbia, S.C.

The board is responsible for licensing all collection agencies, debt buyers, and collection law firms that operate in the state of Tennessee. Periodically, they also rule on disciplinary hearings related to unfair or abusive debt collection practices.
