ACA International’s ongoing advocacy success in Washington, D.C., was recognized by The Hill newspaper this week.
ACA’s Vice President and Senior Counsel of Federal Advocacy Leah Dempsey and Travis Johnson, a principal at 1607 Strategies who works with ACA as a consultant, were recognized for their work for the second year in a row.
“In one of the busiest years on record for the D.C. influence world, these are the people who wielded their connections and knowledge most effectively for their clients. The list highlights the broad range of talents needed to achieve success in the industry,” The Hill reports. In the article, The Hill recognizes D.C.’s key players and lobbyists “who stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and the administration.”
“In a year with a lot of transition in Washington, D.C., after the election and some legislative challenges, ACA International appreciates that The Hill recognized our unwavering bipartisan efforts,” Dempsey said. “ACA’s Board Advocacy committee and leadership, member volunteers, and federal advocacy team are unmatched in their efforts on behalf of the accounts receivable management industry.”
