Doctrine of Necessaries (#2036); Updated law for Virginia and added new law for Alabama.
Age of Majority (#1153); Updated Alabama.
Interstate Chart (#3005); Updated Oregon law regarding exemptions for “out-of-state collectors.”
State Special Text Required Notices (#3048); Updated Texas with new notice requirements for out-of-statute debts.
State Special Text Statutes (#2008); Updated Texas with new notice requirements for out-of-statute debts.
Statute of Limitations: Effect of Partial Payments or Promises to Pay (#2026); Updated Texas with new section. Also recently updated for Washington and Utah.
State Credit Reporting Laws (#1255); Updated Texas with prohibition on CRAs furnishing reports that include out-of-network medical services. Updated Washington state regarding credit reporting for medical debts.
Hospital Billing and Collection Practices (#2805); Added new measures to Tennessee and Texas. Also recently updated with information for Washington state.
