ACA Member Obituary: Edward J. Gilbody
Gilbody was a well-known entrepreneur in the accounts receivable management industry and recipient of the Fred Kirschner Instructor Achievement Award.

Edward J. Gilbody, age 81, former president of Gragil Associates Inc. in Pembroke, Mass., passed away May 13, 2018.
Gilbody, IFCCE, founded Gragil Associates Inc., which recently celebrated its 50th year in business. He was known as a successful entrepreneur employing many people in his community, according to an obituary published in The Boston Globe.
Among his many accomplishments in the industry and with ACA International, Gilbody achieved ACA International’s Scholar Designation in 1989 and received the Fred Kirschner Instructor Achievement Award in 1991 and 1995.
Gilbody is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth, sons David and William, his sister Rosanne LaVacca, grandchildren, nieces and nephews
