As part of its ongoing effort to help members succeed, ACA International CEO Mark Neeb announced that the association assumed management responsibilities of the Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association (GLCCA) beginning Jan. 1, 2019.
“State affiliates contribute to ACA International’s ability to maintain its position as the leading voice of the accounts receivable management industry,” Neeb said. “Under the guidance of ACA’s exceptionally talented staff, the GLCCA will emerge as a stronger unit poised to expand its education and networking offerings as well as its resources. ACA looks forward to this exciting opportunity to work more closely with members who work within the Great Lakes region.”
Founded in 2016 as a merger of the Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin affiliates of ACA International, GLCCA is the largest regional unit of credit and collection professionals in the United States. GLCCA provides a platform for its members to unite and better the collection industry.
“GLCCA is among the strongest, most powerful state units affiliated with ACA International,” said Tim Haag, president of GLCCA. “The decision to transfer management responsibilities to ACA is a result of our desire to strengthen GLCCA’s programs and offerings. ACA International staff understands our needs and is well-suited to work with board members and other leadership to provide members with outstanding service they expect.”
ACA International will provide GLCCA with executive leadership, strategic guidance and will manage all business functions to include finance and accounting, marketing communications, membership processing, event management and administrative support. Harry Strausser III, ACA’s education and membership development director, will serve as GLCCA’s Executive Director.
