U.S. Rep. Robert Latta, R-Ohio, visited with ACA International’s advocacy staff and member Philip Rosenthal, IFCCE, MCE, president of Nationwide Credit Corporation, March 6 to discuss critical issues facing the accounts receivable management industry.
ACA’s Vice President and Senior Counsel of Federal Advocacy Leah Dempsey and Vice President of Congressional and Political Affairs Rae Ann Bevington joined Rosenthal and Congressman Latta for a discussion about Telephone Consumer Protection Act reform and the bipartisan TRACED Act (S. 151), sponsored by Senate Majority Whip John Thune, R-S.D., and U.S. Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., aimed at mitigating robocall scams.
