Following significant court decisions impacting the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry, such as Facebook v. Duguid and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals’ opinion on letter vendors in Hunstein v. Preferred Collection and Management Services Inc., ACA International will host an ACA Huddle webinar with attorney members to provide an update on the litigation landscape at 11 a.m. CDT April 28.
Jessica Klander, shareholder at Bassford Remele, David Schultz, partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, and Mark Rooney, partner at Hudson Cook LLP, will join the ACA Huddle with ACA’s compliance and advocacy team Colin Winkler, corporate counsel, Leah Dempsey, vice president, senior counsel federal advocacy, and Andrew Madden, vice president, state unit and government affairs.
Each ACA Huddle, sponsored by Connect International, Solutions by Text, Pay N Seconds and QBE, also features an update from ACA on the current landscape for receivables businesses from a federal and state advocacy perspective, as well as compliance.
