ACA International’s panel of experts continues to review the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s comprehensive final debt collection rule and will be providing detailed analysis and compliance resources in the conclusion of our ACA Huddle CFPB Rule Series Nov. 16-18.
On Monday, Nov. 16, Patrick Russell, ACA’s federal advocacy director, Leah Dempsey, ACA’s vice president and senior counsel of federal advocacy, Sarah J. Auchterlonie, shareholder, Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber, and Schreck, and Jonathan L. Pompan, partner and co-chair consumer financial services practice group and CFPB task force at Venable LLP, will discuss the how the election impacts the final rule, implementation and enforcement, and next steps from a policy and advocacy standpoint.
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, speakers will discuss what letter vendors are doing in reaction to the rule and the final webinar Wednesday, Nov. 18, will focus on a similar discussion with software vendors.
