ACA Has Your Core Curriculum Education Covered for the Month of August

ACA International has a variety of Core Curriculum webinars planned on accounts receivable management (ARM) industry trends and regulations, such as data privacy and collection industry compliance, to help members achieve ACA’s designations.

Cost-savings tip: If your company has multiple people attending ACA’s webinars, consider investing in the All-Access Training Zone, which includes bundled education from ACA at one low price.

Core Curriculum

Core seminars help you earn designations available through ACA. Our newly launched Designation Express education vehicle allows members to work toward designations on a consistent weekly schedule and network with ACA leaders and members.

This course will discuss the risks and benefits of health care collections then dive into advanced operational topics such as federal laws, the health care account lifecycle, strategies for collecting self-pay and Medicare accounts, and the basics of working with charitable providers. Elizabeth Conklin, director, organizational training and development at State Collection Service Inc., and Irene Hoheusle, vice president, collections and education at Account Recovery Specialists Inc. will lead this webinar. If you aren’t able to attend the live session, it will be available on demand.

Introduction to Collection Industry Compliance
In this webinar, ACA experts will guide you through the complex web of regulatory entities and tips on how to sustain a culture of compliance. Take away the ACA Compliance Checklist to help you start an effective Compliance Management System (CMS) as required by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Additionally, there are opportunities to earn your Collection Industry Professional, Professional Collection Manager and Credit and Collection Professional designations. If you aren’t able to attend the live webinar, it will be available on demand. Daniel Venditti, director, dialer operations at NCB Management Services, Inc. will lead this webinar.
