ACA’s Annual Convention Goes Virtual

In the last two months, we’ve seen dramatic resilience from ACA members as you’ve moved to remote workforce settings and learned to navigate a new network of state regulations around your collection efforts. The ACA team has been inspired by you as we too navigate new ground and explore new ways to provide benefits and value to our members. In that spirit, and after much discussion with the ACA Officers and Board of Directors, we will be transitioning ACA’s Convention from the planned face-to-face event in Chicago to a fully online experience over the same dates of July 15-16, 2020. 

While this year's convention will be virtual, it will be the same innovative and ground-breaking event you have always attended. Your ACA team members are creating a virtual experience that will give you access to the Main Stage sessions, breakout sessions, exhibitor networking, endless resources, chats with all attendees and even a virtual happy hour.
 
As always, our main stage will include inspiring messages to help us all move through personal and career challenges. In addition, you’ll hear from your President and President-Elect on the year’s recap and what you can expect from ACA moving forward. Our breakout sessions are being re-imagined and will focus on helping you and your company discover ways to drive through this revised version of normal. This could be through new services, learning how to be more agile as an organization, continuing to embrace the digital transformation, finding purpose in a changing business model and exploring new ways of working. Online sessions will offer Q&A as well as polling features.
 
The ACA Virtual Convention will continue to bring to you the best products in the industry. You’ll be able to view the Expo Hall and chat directly with representatives from each company, see product demos and learn from other attendees about products and services available to you. The features of the virtual platform will also allow you to search the attendee list for your colleagues and chat with them one-on-one throughout the day.  
 
If you’ve booked a hotel room:
If you have a reservation made in the ACA room block, the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation and send you a confirmation email. Under the current circumstances, refunds will take up to 30 days to hit your credit card.
 
If you’ve signed up to exhibit or sponsor:
The ACA team will be reaching out to you with information and options on how to proceed.
