ACA is excited to meet in person for the annual convention July 28-30 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and is hard at work ensuring safety protocols are in place-as well as a virtual element to the event.
ACA International’s 2021 Annual Convention & Expo is back as a live in-person event this year and registration is open now to join us July 28-30 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
It’s been a whirlwind year and ACA is beyond excited to welcome you back to in-person networking and learning. The annual convention will feature education and business solutions as well as important accounts receivable management industry updates. There will be fun activities too, including the return of the awards breakfast and keynote, the Dinner with Strangers event as well as a Top Golf outing hosted by ACA’s Political Action Committee (ACPAC).
ACA’s planning team is working hard with Caesars Palace on establishing safety protocols and we cannot wait to welcome members back to in-person education and networking. We are also planning for a virtual element either during or after this year’s convention for those members who are not quite ready to travel.
A sneak peek of the full agenda is available on the convention website.
Here are a few highlights from the agenda, which includes three general sessions and 28 breakout sessions and legal education for CLEs:
On the Main Stage: Seven Common-Sense Principles of Leadership from Coach Dick Vermeil
With one of the most distinguished coaching careers in NFL history, Dick Vermeil is well-versed in what it takes to be an effective leader and what it takes to win on and off the field. Vermeil captivates audiences with behind-the-scenes stories and inspiring life lessons as he discusses the common-sense leadership principles that he learned and continually refined over his 15 seasons as an NFL head coach.
ACA Huddle: Updates Live in Las Vegas
The popular weekly ACA Huddle will be in person at this year’s convention. Federal and state governments are discussing and enacting legislation and regulations that will impact both collection activity and business operations of our member agencies. ACA’s advocacy and compliance teams are tracking all this activity. Meet them in person and ask your burning questions in this lively discussion moderated by ACA Board Member Rick Perr, co-managing counsel at Kaufman Dolowich Voluck LLP. The panel includes Leah Dempsey, ACA’s vice president and senior counsel of federal advocacy, Andrew Madden, ACA’s vice president of state unit and government affairs, Issa Moe, ACA’s general counsel, Colin Winkler, ACA’s corporate counsel, Travis Johnson, principal at 1607 Strategies, and Mark Brennan, partner at Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C.
Other featured events at the convention will include the welcome reception, Expo 2021, Innovation Stage, Blueprint Quality Management System workshop, a Women in Collections Resource Council reception and Young Professionals meetup, among many others.
More than 50 companies have already committed to showing ACA members how they will support continued success this year and in the future on the Innovation Stage and in the Expo Hall.
