The ACA International team is heading to Las Vegas for the return to in-person meetings and the industry event of the year with members, expert speakers, regulators and business vendors—the 2021 Convention & Expo (#ACAConv21) July 28-30 at Caesar’s Palace.
ACA can’t wait to see you in Las Vegas! Things may look a little different this year, but we can already feel the energy and passion you will find on-site.
The information below will help you plan for in-person education and networking.
All event functions are located at Caesars Palace in the Palace Tower except for the Topgolf outing hosted by ACA’s Political Action Committee (ACPAC) and select invitation-only functions.
The annual convention will feature education and business solutions as well as important accounts receivable management (ARM) industry updates. There will be fun activities too, including the return of the awards breakfast and keynote, as well as the Dinner with Strangers event.
First-time attendees are invited to a reception to meet each other and interact with ACA staff and other members at 2 p.m. PDT July 28, followed by a reception for young professionals in the industry at 2:30 p.m. PDT.
Day one of the convention’s networking events will conclude with the welcome reception and opening of the Innovation Stage, showcasing fresh ideas and resources from ACA’s affiliate members in the Expo Hall.
On Thursday, July 29, support ACA’s bipartisan Political Action Committee and practice your golf swing during an outing at Topgolf.
Thursday also features a Women in Collections Resource Council (WICRC), a women’s mentorship and education group within ACA’s membership, at 4:45 p.m. PDT.
Here are some some specifics to help you at the start of the convention:
Where to Pick Up Your Name Badge & Materials
Convention materials, including badges, pocket agendas and attendee bags, can be picked up starting at 7 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, at the registration desk located in the Octavius Foyer on the Promenade level of Palace Tower at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
Safety Protocols
For the safety of all attendees and guests of ACA, it is important that COVID-19 Safety Protocols are followed by all attendees and guests. Please take time to review these protocols and plan accordingly. Due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in Las Vegas, the Southern Nevada Health District is now “recommending both unvaccinated and vaccinated people wear masks in crowded indoor public places where they may have contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.”
New Social Distancing Wristbands
We know you’re excited to be back in person, but we also know each of you may have varying levels of personal space comfort. Silicone wristbands will be available to help others identify your personal space preferences and help you identify theirs. Be sure to grab your preferred wristband at the ACA Registration Desk when checking in.
