As data security breaches continue to affect millions of consumers, ACA International is offering an additional two-day CORE seminar on data security and privacy this month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT starting on Jan. 17, 2017.
Participants in the online seminar, a follow-up to Data Security and Privacy I, will learn to explore some practical privacy and data security tactics for using movable and removable media, including “bring your own device” in your workplace.
Certified Instructor Leslie Bender, IFCCE, CCCO, vice president of government affairs and general counsel at BCA Financial Services Inc. in Miami, will also introduce a compliance perspective for social media and networking at work and offer practical advice for handling security incidents in your own organization.
Participants will earn 1.50 Professional Development Units for this online seminar, which can be applied toward Scholar and Fellow designations. Credit will be provided only to individuals who have paid to attend this seminar. Anyone sitting in with a paid participant is not eligible to receive credit.
Registration for both seminars is open now. Please note, ACA International cannot guarantee registrations made on the day of the seminar.
