FirstPoint Collection Resources, an ACA International member agency in Greensboro, N.C., announced that Bill Howard has joined the executive staff as vice president. Howard will be responsible for establishing corporate strategic direction and managing day-to-day activities of the call center services, extended business office services, mosaic finance and third-party collection services business units.

He will quickly become a valuable contributor to our organization’s ongoing success.”
Howard comes to FirstPoint most recently as senior vice president of Credit Bureau Systems in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he spent 15 years managing the consumer credit, commercial credit, debt collection and background screening divisions. Previously he was corporate credit and collection manager for Palmer Wireless in Fort Myers, Fla., and for 15 years he held several positions, including group asset manager for the Regional Credit Card Operations Center of Sears, Roebuck & Company from 1989 to 1997.
Howard has been actively involved in industry associations such as ACA International, Medical Group Management Association, Hospital Financial Management Association, Society of Human Resource Managers and the Cable & Telecommunications Associations of Alabama, Tennessee (board member) and Mississippi (board member). Howard spent three years on the Tuscaloosa Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners and volunteers with the American Cancer Society and the Red Cross.
