American Profit Recovery, a ACA International member agency in Michigan with additional offices in Massachusetts and North Carolina, got into the employee spirit last week as the company hosted Employee Week. With a dunk tank, lots of food and prizes, the company let the employees relax and have fun, all in an effort to raise money for an important cause.
Each year, American Profit Recovery dedicates a week to its staff. While the team is celebrated throughout the year, this particular week features a host of fun activities with a charitable component. This year, the company created a Back to the ’80s theme and offered employees a few ways to raise money for the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks.
Employees raised money in part by offering up several managers to go into the dunk tank. Five managers took their 15 minutes in the dunk tank. When they were done, more than $800 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer was raised. Employees and their family members helped raise the money by purchasing $1 tickets.
The tickets were also good for a company-wide ’80s trivia game, in which employees could win Detroit Lions tickets, a $200 Visa gift card, an American Profit Recovery prize pack of apparel, or time-off and dress casual day vouchers. All the money raised went to the company’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks.
American Profit Recovery will take part in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in Boston and Howell, Mich.
