David A. Molony, former owner and president of CAB Collection Agency in Charleston, S.C., passed away on Oct. 20, 2012, at the age of 79.
Molony attended The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., as a veteran student after serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the Hibernian Society and a sports enthusiast.
Molony is survived by his wife, Kathryn Gibson Molony; his son, Robert Kelly Molony and his wife, Donna; his son, David Randall Molony and his wife, Carol; his daughter, Allison Molony Carter and her husband, Grayson IV; and his grandchildren David Limehouse Carter and Martha Gibson Carter. Molony is also survived by his brothers, Robert E. Molony and Alfred Molony. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Margaret Molony; his brothers, Gus and Joseph Molony; and his sisters, Sister Margaretta Molony, Dorothy Ostapeck and Marjorie Bennett.
