Government affairs professionals are fond of saying, "With just a stroke of the pen, a legislature can drastically change the way you do business and impact your bottom line." ACA offers a tool to enable units and members to take a more proactive stand to protect the interests of the credit and collection industry at the state level.
STAN tracks hundreds of bills in all 50 states, which may impact the credit and collection industry. STAN is a service designed to complement and enhance the current government affairs structure of state units. Contract lobbyists are encouraged to become part of the Credit and Collection Advocate Members (CCAM) and access the online portal to STAN.
