Hundreds of bills are introduced in state legislatures every year. Aside from the sheer volume of introduced legislation, other factors affect a bill’s future. For example, many state legislatures mandate bills be introduced before a particular deadline, so one may witness a flurry of bills being introduced on the deadline date.
Monitoring bills of interest is paramount to successful grassroots advocacy, and ACA provides members with two important state legislative monitoring resources.
