Todd Langusch is the Chief Security Officer at Tech Lock Inc. Todd has over 20 years of privacy, information security, and information technology experience. Currently, as Tech Lock CSO, Todd works with organizations of all sizes and industries with their regulatory compliance programs and information technology innovation. He specializes in holistic information security; mapping requirements for multiple regulatory and industry standards in a single project. After performing over 200 security assessments in the asset receivables industry and for his contributions as an industry expert, Todd was recently named one of the Top 50 Collection Professional’s of the year during the Collection Advisor Tech ’08 conference.
Todd is a Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), and has obtained over 20 industry certifications in Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, Citrix, Compaq and HP technologies as well as certifications in Security and Project Management. Todd is an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
Todd has extensive experience delivering IT infrastructure services to a wide range of enterprises spanning industries, applications and geographies. Before beginning his career in the private sector, Todd worked in both Cryptography and Information Technology in the government sector where he held top security clearances and specialized in communications and operational security.
Prior to Tech Lock, Todd served in key privacy and security roles at several large companies. Recently, he was Senior Director of Information Technology & Security for Sallie Mae’s Asset Performance Group where he leveraged his expertise in European privacy (Data Protection Principles), Canadian (PIPEDA), HIPAA, PCI Compliance, GLBA, FISMA (NIST & FIPS), and ISO 27000 series to expand the business into new asset classes and build a Holistic Information Security Program.
