CCCO Designation Requirements:

  • Credit & Collection Compliance Officer seminar. Available as face-to-face training only.
  • Ethical & Professional Collections seminar. Available as online training and face-to-face training.
  • Data Security & Privacy seminar. Available as online training and face-to-face training.
  • FDCPA: Hot Topics seminar. Available as online training and face-to-face training.
  • FCRA seminar. Available as online training and face-to-face training.
  • Pass the CCCO exam with a score of 85% or higher.

The Health Care Collection Management Designation provides training and testing to measure knowledge of health care requirements and professional practices in the collection industry.

HCM Requirements:

  • Health Care Collection Management. Available as online training or face-to-face training.
  • Ethical & Professional Collections. Available as online training and face-to-face training.
  • Data Security & Privacy. Available as face-to-face training.
  • Pass the HCM exam with a score of 85% or higher.

ACA’s Trainer Specialist designation supports seasoned trainers through effective training techniques to facilitate ACA’s core collector programs, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Professional Telephone Collectors’ Techniques, within your organization. Upon completion of this training program, your collectors will qualify to test for the Professional Collection Specialist Certificate.

Prerequisites for Trainers:

  • Earn the PCS Certificate.
    • FDCPA: Facts, Fiction & Reality - Online seminar or face-to-face seminar.*
    • Professional Telephone Collectors’ Techniques - Online seminar, face-to-face seminar or CD-ROM.
    • Pass the PCS Certificate Exam.
  • Complete the Trainer Specialist seminar.
  • Pass the Trainer Exam with a score of 85 percent or higher.

*Please note that if you earned your PCS Certificate before working toward your Trainer designation and completed the FDCPA training via the CD-ROM program, you are required to take the FDCPA: Facts, Fiction & Reality course as an online or face-to-face seminar in order to earn the Trainer designation.
