Search Tips

Welcome to ACA International’s Membership Directory. Searching the directory is simple and allows you the flexibility to find the member or members best matching your needs. Just follow these steps:

1. Select the type of member you would like to find: Agency, Asset Buyer, Attorney, Creditor or Vendor.

2. Next, narrow your search criteria.

• Name searches: If you are trying to find a specific ACA member and know the member’s company or contact name, enter that information in the designated boxes. You may enter as few as the first two letters of the name. You may leave the name fields blank if you do not wish to search for a specific member by name.
• Location searches: If you are trying to find an ACA member in a specific location, choose either “Search by Full Country,” “Search by State/Territory/Province” or “Search by City/Town.” Once you have selected one of these options, choose the desired location from the drop-down menus (and, in the case of a city/town search, type the name of the city in the text box) next to your selection.
• Category/Description searches: If you are searching for an agency, attorney or vendor member offering a specific product/service or under specific conditions, you may select up to two categories from the category/description list.

You may narrow your search using as few or as many of these search types as you wish. For example, if you would like to find Acme Collection Company and you know the agency is located in Florida, you may conduct a name search for “Acme” to see all of the member companies in the world named Acme, or you can further specify both the name Acme and the location Florida to find just the members named Acme located in that state.

3. Click the Search button to conduct your search.

Note: The more information you provide, the fewer listings you will receive. To get more listings, provide less information. To get fewer listings, provide more information. If you provide too little information and there are several hundred matching listings, you will be prompted to narrow your search. If you provide too much information, your search will yield no results, and you will need to broaden your search by providing fewer details.
