Are you looking for a collection agency?
ACA has a listing of collection agency members available on our Web site.
- Access ACA’s Membership Directory.
- Select "Agency Members."
- Then select the state or country you would like to find an agency in and press "Search."
You will get an alphabetical listing by city.
You can also do an Advanced Search if you know the name of the agency. Instead of selecting a state or country, you can select "Advanced Search" and enter as much information as you have about the company. Many of the listings include Web sites that you can review before calling. All our listings have the information you will need to contact the agency. If you need additional assistance, please contact us at membership@acainternational.org
How to select an agency
We generally suggest that you look for an agency in your area or the area where the debtor is located. Many agencies can collect in several states, so don’t let location be your only guide.
Here is some information about our members:
Membership in ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, is voluntary. ACA members are required to comply with all federal and state laws and regulations, as well as ethical standards and guidelines established by the association. The association maintains a professional ethics and responsibility committee that reviews written complaints filed by members or the public.
Companies that invest in membership in the association representing their industry are more likely to be up-to-date in critical areas such as compliance, risk management and professional business practices. For example, ACA offers excellent training and certification programs for collection professionals. In addition, ACA has established the Professional Practices Management System standard-setting program for collection agencies.
If you have found a company that you are interested in, you can contact us to check how long they have been a member of the association: membership@acainternational.org.
