Asset Buyers Division
Asset Buyers Division members are companies that buy, sell, finance or service asset sale transactions, holding positions such as debt buyers or sellers, brokers and investment bankers.
The Asset Buyers Division (ABD) of ACA International was established to meet the specific needs of those involved in the acquisition, sale, management and liquidation of receivables, including, but not limited to, buyers, sellers and providers of related services.
Our mission is to facilitate the success of our members by:
- Providing critical information on industry trends and issues.
- Building upon the strength of our parent organization to collectively act on legislative issues and to promote and protect the needs and concerns of our members.
- Educating our members regarding:
- Compliance
- Ethics
- Policies, procedures and practices
- Developing the best resources available to support a knowledgeable, ethical and profitable asset buying industry.
Who can join?
ABD membership is open to companies that buy, sell, finance or service asset sale transactions, and employ individuals such as debt buyers or sellers, brokers and investment bankers. Companies that do any collections must first apply for agency membership and apply through the appropriate state unit. ABD membership may then be added.
- Companies that do not do any collections may join ABD directly. Simply complete this application and return it to us with payment.
- ACA Agency members, Affiliate members, Creditors International members and Members' Attorney Program members may add ABD membership to their current membership. To learn more about this section of membership, please call +1(952) 926-6547.
